Scholarship program for women in STEM careers offered by the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT). These are partial and total scholarships to empower women to develop the skills and competencies of human talent to face the changes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“Women in Engineering Projects for Community Service,” led by CINDE with Arizona State University, the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica, and MEP.

The initiative is committed to increasing the participation of more women in STEAM areas. It is a project implemented in areas outside the Greater Metropolitan Area as part of efforts to share that knowledge across the country.

W@TT de Texas Tech University

The Costa Rican headquarters of Texas Tech University opened the call for its program for the training of women in STEM.

The center W@TT operates in two ways, “on the one hand, as a tool or vehicle to accelerate the empowerment of women in both soft skills and technical issues in the areas of STEM; and, on the other, to develop the professionals that the different Costa Rican industries are needing.”

Professional Qualification Program of the Innovation and Human Capital for Competitiveness Program of MICITT

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications (MICITT), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE) make available the new scholarship program for adults who wish to train in technological areas.

The PINN aims to contribute to productivity growth by supporting innovation activities in the productive sector and the formation of advanced human capital in strategic areas of the National Science, Technology and Innovation Plan.

Sandra Cauffman Engineer Scholarship from Universidad Fidelitas

Fidélitas University launched the competition for the Sandra Cauffman Engineering Scholarship with the purpose of stimulating female participation in engineering careers.

The aim of the initiative is to bring young women closer to the careers of the future. Five scholarships will be awarded for 50% of the entire baccalaureate program that each winner chooses to study.
